Trained again.....

If I'm not careful this will become a habit!! (Fingers crossed eh?)

Up early and out to the garage - felt stiff round the hamstrings and
glutes but otherwise ready for action
Went like this -
7 x 5/5 12kg military press
20 x 10 16kg swings - mostly 5/5 but some 2 hd sets and 10 left 10 right

Felt good and got a lot more in the tank but need to be sensible and
take it slowly

I trained.......

Nothing spectacular but I forced myself out into the dark and the cold
and I did something....
20 sets 10/16kg 1nd swings alternating l/r sets
5 sets 5/5/12kg military press

Nothing too strenuous but I sweat buckets and my hip held out

Very pleased :-)

New year New start - Due some luck??

The final all months of 2012 have not been kind to me and if I'm
honest I have not been kind to myself......
It started with awful pain in my hip and spiraled to laziness and overeating
And from there its just a viscous circle that I haven't been able to
get away from
3 months on and a stone heavier time to act
But surely now after months of virtual rest I must get a break??

So back to basics soon -

Eat well, train hard and get in shape for me and my family
